July 30, 1947 – May 27, 2023

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Arnette McKay and sister Kathy
Palazzolo. The loving partner of Sue. Russ was a father, grandfather, great grandfather,
brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Russ never met a stranger. To his family, friends and
any acquaintance he was kind, thoughtful and loving.

Russ worked as a Lithographer for many years but was gifted with many skills. He was always
learning and shared his interest in history, politics and religion with everyone.
Russ was a proud veteran having enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1965. He was
dedicated to helping veterans and started a foundation in honor of his friend Ron Bozikis, who
lost his life in Vietnam. He was a participant in the development of the Vietnam Veterans wall in
Perryville, MO. Russ was a member of the Elks Lodge in Arnold, MO.

He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. The family requests that remembrances be made
in his honor to the veterans organization of your choice. Private services.
