Ruth Teresa (Franklin) Hill passed away at Manor Grove in Kirkwood, MO at the age of 97 on February 16, 2020. She was born in Stamford, CT on August 13, 1922.

Ruth was the loving wife of Herbert Allen Hill, daughter of Henry J. and Anna Mae (Dolson) Franklin, sister of John Franklin and Louise (Franklin) Smith, a dear sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.

Like many of her generation, Ruth helped support her family during the Great Depression and World War II era. Ruth met Herb at a dance while he was in the Navy. She enjoyed a successful career as an executive secretary.

Ruth and Herb were avid golfers and members of The Patterson Club in Fairfield, CT. Ruth was a talented artist, noted for her colorful paintings of farm scenes, flowers, and landscapes.

She will be buried alongside Herb in Branson, MO.
