Sarah M. Scott

Sarah Scott (Belter) died in her home on May 21, 2017 in Wentzville, MO following an extremely hard and long battle with brain cancer. She was 29 years old.

Sarah was born March 2, 1988 to her parents, Dave and Trish Belter. Sarah married her highschool sweetheart Josh in 2008, and gave birth to two baby girls. Hannah in 2014 and Morgan in 2015. She was able to work from home while being a stay at home mom.

Sarah was absolutely beautiful inside and out. An incredible mom, wife, aunt, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and friend. She was smart, caring, sarcastic, and adventurous. She was passionate about everything in her life. She definitely was not bashful and she was incredibly stubborn, proven by her fight and will to beat this horrible disease. She will always be remembered for sticking her tongue out during pictures.

Sarah Scott is survived by her two daughters, Hannah and Morgan; husband, Josh; parents, Dave and Trish Belter; brother, Bryan (Julie)Belter; Grandparents, grandma Cody and Mama (Belter)

A Celebration of the Life of Sarah will be held at Broemmelsiek Park on June 4th in the Browm Hilltop Group Picnic area. The pavilion will be open at 10:00 am and the memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. If anyone would like to say anything please let us know so we can accommodate that. Food will be served following the service.

The address is: 1795 Highway DD Defiance, MO 63341. This will be a causal dress event, and open to everyone, including children.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how you are coping. I do hope that you can find comfort to know that a lot of people cared about Sarah. I did not know her personally but kept up with her struggles on Facebook. Prayers for your comfort and peace.

Was fortunate enough to “meet” Sarah through an online mothers group formed when she was pregnant with Hannah. We all followed her battle and are saddened to hear this news. Her cheeky smile will be missed 🙁 xxx

I am sorry for the loss of Sarah. I haven’t spoken with her (or the Belter family) in years, but I will always remember nights at the ballpark with them. Thanks for those memories that will live on forever.
