Buffa, Stella M. (nee Lawson) 86, of Chesterfield, surrounded by family, passed peacefully at home on June 10, 2017 at 4am. Beloved daughter of William B & May Lawson. Loving Mother to Richard B. Buffa (Beth), and Cheryl L Mayer (Curt). Cherished grandmother to Bryan, Daniel (Rachel) & Chad. Great Grandmother to Vinny. We will have a private celebration of Life Memorial.

I know she is MISSED
I am so very sorry for your loss. Mom was a wonderful woman and I will miss her greatly. She always treated me like one of her own and I loved her for that. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you Cheryl.

Stella will be greatly missed. She was always the social butterfly and bestfriend to Cheri. What a beautiful spirit gone too soon. Love and kisses.
My mother (Wilma) and Stella used to talk on the phone for hours. Stella provided alot of Lawson family history for us.Real nice lady.I know she will be missed.God bless you all.

Anyone that knows Stella could tell you that she was the one of a kind woman. She was always a lot of fun to be around. Always told it the way it was. definitely a people person. You could tell by her wonderful smile. She will be missed by all that knew her. Or thoughts and prayers to her loved ones.
Oh these pictures are beautiful…she was beautiful… What I remember about her is her being so funny…I always came away with a good belly laugh. Watch over your family Stella especially your amazing daughter Cheri from above, keep sending those signs…rest in peace.
After hearing you speak about/with your mother for over a decade, I know how very much you cared about each other. you were more like sisters and friends. THat is a magical relationship to forever be cherished.
What I loved the most about Stella was her smile and her laugh and her great sense of humor. She was so much fun to be around, and she will be greatly missed. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
