Streiker, The

Streiker, formerly known as Robert Adams passed away on Friday August 17th, 2018 shortly after Noon from a series of illness that had plagued him for several months. He passed away in his sleep in the presence of his Wife Eve and his friends.

Streiker is survived by his Wife Eve Adams nee Kloever, His Sisters Paula Adams, Donna Johnson, and his Brother in Law Bruce Johnson, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Streiker was born on December 24th 1950, to his parents Robert and Ruth Adams. He attended Normandy High School and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism/English. He served in the United States Army in Germany in the 1970’s where he was involved in intelligence operations.

Streiker, a born entertainer, was the first Portable Disc Jockey in the St. Louis area and one of the founders of the St. Louis Gateway Portable D. J. Association. He was a musician performing as a drummer in Bob Kuban’s Brass in the 60’s and 70’s. He was also a Big Band D. J. at WEW radio for years. His final career was with the St. Louis County Family Court as a Bailiff. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends as his wit and practical jokes were a source of mirth and laughter for all who knew him.
