Sue Harley
Sue Harley, 84, born Alvina Louise Allgeyer, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away due to COVID-19 on January 25 in St.Louis, Missouri. Sue was born in Cincinnati to Walter and Agnes Allgeyer. She graduated from Central High School in 1954. In December of 1967 she married and eventually had three children. After raising them she was determined to earn a college degree and enrolled at Cincinnati State College. While earning her degree, Sue worked at the college as an administrative assistant, and after graduating continued to work at the school for sixteen years until she retired. Sue moved to St. Louis in 2008 where she lived at Gambrill Gardens. She loved her collections of special items acquired over a lifetime, watching Cardinals baseball, holidays and celebrations of every kind, and she loved to dance. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Harold, and Leonard; her sister, Evelyn Balsley; and her daughter, Heather Renee Harley. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Harley (Stephanie),
and Robert Harley (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Ella, Austin, Michael, David, and Robbie. A celebration of Sue’s life will be planned at a later date.
