Tanya Dlugatch
05/01/1969-11/11/2021
On November 11, 2021, Tanya Dlugatch passed after an intense battle with Covid-19 and became an angel in heaven, as she was on earth. She was surrounded by loved ones during her final moments. She held herself as invincible, and was the strongest, most amazing woman. Although she is no longer with us, she fought so hard, and survived so many obstacles, that we were told she wouldn’t survive. She was a warrior while fighting for her life, and she was a warrior throughout life. She was 52 years young and taken from us too soon. She is survived by her father Norman Joseph Dlugatch, her mother Dalene Kay Fick (Khan), her daughter Ashley Eden Caliebe, her two sisters Dawn Renee Prader and Jacqueline Khan, her two nieces and nephew, as well as many friends that knew and loved her.
Tanya was a special soul. She loved with everything she had and did whatever she could to spread love and happiness to those around her. She was a passionate human being that touched the hearts of everyone she crossed paths with. Her hobbies included capturing candid photos of wildlife and she knew and loved her local geese, elk and bison. She had a special interest in traveling the country in search of the paranormal, and even had a following of some wonderful people that joined her on her adventures. Her generosity, her ability to forgive, her motivation when it came to her career, her smile, her laugh, her silliness, her ability to make all the bad, somehow disappear, are just some of the many things that made her so special. She will forever be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Very beautiful life & legacy of Tanya. She was & still will be the friend that had the purest heart. I think about her when I hear a Fleetwood Mac song
and when I pass by her Grandpa’s house on Pickering in Whittier. She was a work horse, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, she was by far the strongest woman I had the pleasure to call my friend. Many have learned from her human kindness. I miss & love you.
I am totally heartbroken.
I am her cousin in Florida and I never got the opportunity to meet her in person BUT
I spent time on the phone with her and she
truly was the purest sweetest person I have EVER connected with in my life .
So sad and will miss her.
We all have a Beautiful Angel looking after us.
Hard to believe still that your gone. We miss our visits to the house to see you. We had so many laughs together & loved hearing your stories from your out of town paranormal adventures. You were a wonderful friend & giving person to those around you. God sure has received a truly gifted & amazing woman.
I love you Tanya, you are so missed. These pictures bring back so many memories and bring tears to my eyes. I still can’t believe your gone. Until we meet again my sweet sister. 💔🙏
I still can’t believe you’re gone, Tanya. You are truly loved and missed 💕
I still can’t believe you are gone either even though I hadn’t seen you. I am most sad for Ashley and Dawn because there is such a hole in their lives that you used to fill.
Rest in Peace Tanya
Although we weren’t close friends per say. There was one common factor, that kept us in touch with one another and that was our wonderfully beautiful daughter Ashley Eden. Who Tanya had raised to become the person she is today. Tanya is a soul that has left this life to soon. A soul that will most definitely be missed by not only her closest loved ones, but many who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. The loss of this Soul has affected many. Most importantly our daughter and your closest friend, Tanya. They say there is a purpose for everyone on this earth. Unfortunately people don’t ever in their life figure out what their purpose is. Tanya most definitely new hers and that was loving and helping others.
