Our mother, Viola Myrtle Evans, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the 29th of December 2023, at the age of 94. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on the 28th of  July 1929, to parents Ophie and Ethel Knott. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Evans, her parents, and two siblings, Austin Knott and Eva Hankins

She is survived by her children Brenda Irish, Joseph Evans and Larry Evans, her sister, Norma Mann, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Our mom worked hard her whole life to provide for her three children, without a thought about her own life.
