August 1933 – February 2023

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of William Dale Merwin on February 28, 2023.  He is survived by his twin sister Marjorie Ann Merwin King , and his life partner Gilbert Castillo.

Bill was an accomplished Oral  Surgeon, a university instructor and teacher, a collector of fine art and a lover of opera , who also loved to travel the world.

There are many kind words that can be used to  describe Bill.   He was a mentor to many and touched each friend and family member with unwavering kindness, unassuming modesty, and with his wonderful humor.  He was dependable,  trustworthy, and a fine man.

He will be missed.  May his memory be eternal.

There will be a gathering of friends to celebrate his life.  Date and time to be announced.
