Bill – you will never know how much I will miss you and how much you were loved. Almost 50 years together, you will be with me forever. I will miss you so much. I love you!

I am so shocked and sorry. I only knew you through a favorite neighborhood tavern where you fit in quite perfectly and added your unique, additional, smart layer of ideas and humor. You will be missed and mourned by your tavern buddies. You made a lasting impression even with those of us who did not know you for decades – you made an impact. I know I speak for many of us – this was far too soon, and you are missed. I am very sorry.

    Bill,
I looked forward to your planned visit to California. I will truly miss you and I can only hope that you now fully understand the deep admiration and respect that so many of us have for you.

    Love,
    Devin

“And the only sound that’s left
    After the ambulances go
    Is Cinderella sweeping up
    On Desolation Row.”

Bill, I will always remember the happy times and your inimitable, sardonic wit. You once said this was the greatest song ever (as we sat listening to it in a local watering hole). You will be missed for a long, long time. Jeff

    Bill,

I’ll miss your wit and your sarcasm but most of all I’ll miss your laugh.

Growing up, you was more than a friend to me. You were my role model. Your lost is heartfelt, as I never got the chance to say “I’m sorry”. May you find the peace in your next journey and the love you were always seeking.

    Bill,
I guess I waited too long to “look you up”. I’m sorry I missed that chance. Altho, I have thought about you often, remembering how much we had. You were always sooo much fun to be with! I have never gotten over the ride thru the mountains @ 70 mph bumper to bumper traffic on the way to Santa Cruz. It was always fun to be around you! I have missed you!
