Yolanda “JoJo” Burke, 72, of Ballwin, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Micaela Fierro and Domingo Cano.
Wife of George Burke; loving mother of Juan (Donna) Garza and daughter Mary (Joe) Rose; adoring grandmother of Daniel (Kayla) Rose and Emilie & Alex Garza; dear great grandmother of Carter, Lucas & Brooks Rose; sister of Ruben Cano, Cristela (Curtis) Stephens, Gilbert Jr. (Kim) Fierro, Terri MacDermott, Rosario (Randy) Overfield, Pilar (Cherie) Fierro, Enrriqueta (Brian) Bain, Roy (Gay) Cano, Ralph Cano, John Cano, Ray (Cheryl) Cano, Roberto Cano, Regina Cano Booth, and Diana (Elbie) Wilson; niece, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many.
JoJo was a kind and giving person who enjoyed music, dancing, and playing slots at the casino, but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Ave., Valley Park, Missouri 63088.

I work at the nursing home that Yolanda resided at. She was a very kind and humorous woman. I loved dancing with her. Each time was so much fun. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family. May Yolanda’s memory be a blessing. May she rest in peace.
