The sun rose on the Yount home October 13, 1966, and the sun set on the Yount family February 11, 2021.

Paul Lee Yount of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Paul worked at the Hardwood Flooring Mill in Birch Tree, Missouri and later at Today’s Foods in Piedmont, Missouri. Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Naomi Yount of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his parents, Charles Lee Yount and Lois Jean Rose Yount of Birch Tree, Missouri; and his grandmother, Lola Yount of Victorville, California.

Paul is survived by his sister, Kimberly Renee Shunk of Middletown, Pennsylvania; an adopted sister, Yvonne Fears of Winona, Missouri; his aunt, Mary Sue Herringer of Buckeye, Arizona; and his aunt, Jean Yount of Highland, California. Paul had many cousins, nieces and nephews that he treasured and adored.

Paul loved photography and was an amazing photographer. A extra special thank you goes out to Yvonne Fears for all she has done to help the family out.
