Born March 25, 1937 to Lawrence and Helen Snyder in St. Louis, MO.

Bob was in the field of education. He taught at the middle school level, and was a counselor. He also was an adjunct professor at the university level. In his private practice, he counseled adults and families.

He was a man of diverse interests and talents. Working on houses, cooking, traveling, photography, going to Broadway shows and being with friends and family were his passions. When he retired, he went to school and became a potter. His work, with ceramics, was regularly displayed and sold at the Art Fair at Queeny Park.

Loving husband of Joyce (nee Glore). Dear father of Judy (Bill) Jackson, and Dennis (Maria) Snyder; Grandfather of Will (Diane) Jackson, Blake and Nathan Schoenberg, and Sam Baker; Great-grandfather of Joshua Diana. He leaves sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by parents and brothers: George and Bill.

A casual memorial service will be held at Noon Saturday, April 10th 2021, with reception to follow, at the residence of his son and daughter-in-law at 1860 Stenton Path, Chesterfield, MO 63005.
