Sally Ann Legate

Sally Ann Legate, 73, passed away, Sunday, April 4, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Wilma Buchanan and her siblings, Glen Buchanan, John Buchanan and Virginia Parker.

Sally was the beloved wife of Gary Legate, a loving mother to Janey (Ron) Bell, Kenny Legate (Jetta Barcus), and John (Shelly) Legate, dear grandmother to Ashleigh (Ben) Wesselschmidt, Jordan Bell (CJ Canter), Alyssa Bell (Caleb Crahan), Carter Legate and Gavin Legate, dear great-grandmother of Addison Bell, Eli Wesselschmidt, Ari Wesselschmidt and Naomi Wesselschmidt. She a dear aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Sally loved camping, her favorite spot was off of the Jacks Fork River and spending time with her family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

    I had not seen Sally in a very long time but I do remember that beautiful genuine smile. ????I know you all will miss her very much and the family is in our prayers at this sad and difficult time. ❤️ Pam, Kent , Chad and Kenzie Stevenson.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. Sally was like a second mom to me, Pam and Jamie growing up. I take some comfort in knowing that her and my mom can “hang out” again and play cards.

    Sally was the older sister I never had. She was one of my best friends during the most important years of my life. I’ve known and loved her for 48 years and her passing has hit me hard. She was a beautiful soul who was kind, warm, fun and had a wicked sense of humor. Her family meant everything to her. We had so many good times together. I babysat her children, I rode on a motorcycle with Gary, we played cards and listened to music and always watched Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack. I miss you so much friend. I love you.
