LAWRENCE J “LARRY” GUTHMILLER, 95, ARNOLD

Lawrence J. “Larry” Guthmiller died May 1, 2021, at The Arbors at Mattis Pointe. He served in the Navy during WWII. A printer by trade, Mr. Guthmiller was a retired federal employee for many years at the former Defense Mapping Agency.. He was a longtime resident of Arnold, MO., and enjoyed volunteering for the benefit of his community, including the Arnold Khoury League, Meals on Wheels, and helping to found the Arnold Food Pantry. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Helen (nee Fayfrie) Guthmiller.

Survivors include a son, John (Anne) Guthmiller of Richmond, VA, a daughter, Josephine Guthmiller of Barnhart, MO; two grandchildren: Rachel Kluender of St. Louis, MO, and Luke (Ginger) Kluender of Carrollton, MO; and one great-grandchild: Pemberley Kluender of Carrollton, MO.

Mr. Guthmiller donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arnold Food Pantry.
