Between floods of tears and gasping sobs we must announce that our one and only son, Cory Edward Gudgel, departed to eternity on Wednesday evening, May 5, 2021. His battle with extreme pain and hard life events is over. He is finally FREE.

Cory leaves behind Kristy, the only woman he loved; Lily, the jewel that put the gleam in his eye and gave him courage to continue his fight for a better life; parents, Ron and Teri, who in good times and bad always comforted, supported, guided, and prayed daily for him; and too many to list relatives and friends.

During his life journey, Cory showed love and laughter making most everyone he met better and happier for knowing him. Thank you Lord Jesus for sharing him with us these 35 years.

There will be no viewing or funeral services. Please contact Ron if you would like to see his face in repose.
