Glen A. Marten passed away peacefully at home on June 17th surrounded by his family. Glen was born August 30, 1949, in Salem, Illinois to Frederick and Florence Marten. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Susan, son Christopher (Aimee) of Fulton, IL, son Kyle (Lisa) of Kings Mountain, NC, and daughter Cassandra (Larry) O’Neal of Moscow Mills, MO. His grandchildren Alexandria, Grace, Isabel, Carter, Henry, Chloe, Tatum, Jouva, Caleb, Andy and Nikko, and great-grandson Clayton. He has three sisters; Sharon (Jim) Weissmueller, Connie (Reinhard) Grosch, and Annie (Patrick) Foley.

Glen served four years in the Navy during Vietnam. He owned and ran Marco Screw Products for over 40 years. He was a long time member and officer of Sportsmen’s Edge Bass Club

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society or St. Louis University Hospital Cancer research.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
