Jacqueline Anne Bless, 87, of Ballwin MO, departed this life on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Jackie was born July 10, 1934 in St. Louis, MO to James Watt Brown and Clara Jean
Brown. She married Warren Joseph Bless on September 24, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. Together
they had three children.

She is survived by her son Mark (Ok Son) Bless and two daughters, Michelle (Kurt) Sellmeyer,
and Mary Bless; seven grandchildren, Robert (Anika) Sellmeyer, Josh (Kristen) Sellmeyer,
Sarah (Adam) Wurr, Rachel (Tony) Evans, Jacob (Julie) Bless, Adam Bless, and Clara Bless;
seven great-grandchildren, Theodore Sellmeyer, Charles Sellmeyer, Lily Sellmeyer, Luca
Evans, Nico Evans, Samuel Wurr, and Abigail Wurr. She is survived by her sister Virginia (nee
Waechter) Becker. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters and a
brother.

Jackie and her husband Warren were one of the founding members of Mary Mother of
the Church and remained active members until they moved in 1993. She worked a variety of
jobs throughout her life including secretary at the City of St. Louis Sheriff’s Office, manager of a
restaurant, an Avon Lady for many years, and a retail saleswoman at a dress shop.
Jackie enjoyed genealogy, reading, singing, and watching old movies, but her greatest joy was
spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Gathering UMC, 2360 McCausland Ave. St. Louis, MO
on November 5, 2021 at 10:00 am.
