Ruth Niedbalski

Ruth Marie Niedbalski (nee Engle) passed into God’s glory as witnessed by family on November 9, 2021 at the age of 80. Ruth was born August 26, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri and is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Sr. and Leola Engle, and her brothers Charles Engle Jr. and Ralph Engle.

She loved, married and built a wonderful life of 62 years with Alvin Niedbalski, and is survived by him to carry on her legacy of selfless generosity.

Surviving with wonderful memories are her children, Alvin Jr. (Lisa) Niedbalski, Kenn (Cindy) Niedbalski, and Susan (Ronnie) Garner. Once and always “Nana” to Jeremy (Casie) Garner, Katen, Emily and Carter Niedbalski. Loving “Grandma” to Becky (Joe) Roberson and family and Jessica Warren and family. Great Grandma (GG) to her precious Taylen Garner and Ava Niedbalski. An Aunt, cousin and friend to many; including the countless children she herded onto the dance floor at many Polish weddings.

Services: Visitation Monday, November 29th at 11 am with Mass to follow at Noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4200 Delor Street, St. Louis, MO 63116. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to continue Ruth’s memory, her battle against cancer, and to comfort and assist the children.
