Mary Brummel
Mary J. Brummell (nee Hurley), 95, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, beloved wife of the late Fred B. Brummel, who proceeded her in death in 1995. She was also proceeded in death by her parents David and Therese (Bauer) Hurley. She leaves behind three daughters: Diane (Leo) Letendre, of Montville, Connecticut; Suzanne (Paul) Geerling, of St. Charles; and Marianne (Gregory) Menke, of Missoula, Montana; one brother: Jim (Pat) Hurley, of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Jill (Dustin) Owen, Ted (Emily) Geerling, Craig (Kelli) Geerling, Kaye (Josh) Beachler, Claire Letendre, Denise Letendre, Peter Menke and Alex Menke and 7 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild.
Mary has decided to donate her body to St. Louis University Medical School. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation can be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul, St. Louis Archdiocese.
Such a wonderful wife, mother and friend, three daughters who she loved dearly and the grandkids etc.

Great neighbor, fellow church member, loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Her memory lives on in her family who she loved and visited as often as she was able. My condolences to her family.

My condolences to the the Brummel family. We enjoyed many New Years eve together at my house and breakfast the next day. Wonderful lady who we have already misse d at our birthday lunches. Thanks for the memories Mary. Love Katy Moran
Mrs Brummel was a beautiful “lady” who seemed to always have it together. She amazed me with the laps she used to swim to keep in shape. I am trying to emulate her in my retirement. She will be missed.
