Anne Taylor died peacefully after a short bout with cancer on December 29, 2021. She was born
February 1, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was the third of nine kids in the loving Rola family. She attended St. Paul’s Elementary School
and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. She loved the summer trips with her family
to her grandmother’s lake house. That was the beginning of Anne’s love of water.

Anne attended St. Louis Community College to become a laboratory technician. She was proud
of her career, the medical knowledge she obtained from it and the life-long friends she made
through it. However, she was most proud of the accomplishments of her children.

She spent her free time with the love of her life, Bud Taylor, and her kids, Michael and Shane
Manning and Buddy Taylor on any river in Missouri. She loved to camp, fish and canoe. Anne
was always good for cooking the camp meal and they were nothing shy of amazing – crab legs,
steaks, and anything you can do in a Dutch oven.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Taylor, mother, Joan Friedeck, sister, Becky
Chavez, and brother, Timothy Rola.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Manning, Shane (Liz) Manning and Buddy (Sarah) Taylor;
Her grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Alyssa, Lexis, and Kyliegh Manning and Wyatt and Laney
Taylor. Her father who she absolutely adored, Phil (Rosie) and her brothers and sisters who she
would have done anything for, Jeff (Suzie), Matt (Sue), Jenny (Art), Margaret (Carl), Carrie,
Tony and all her nieces, nephews and friends she considered family.

There will be a celebration of Anne’s life on January 29, 2022 at her house in Owensville. If weather
is bad an alternate date will be communicated. To remember Anne the family asks that you
spend time with your loved ones enjoying the outdoors, maybe wait until it’s a little warmer, but
get out there and visit a free campsite or take a float trip and eat some good home cooked food.
