Tammy Ann Linn
Tammy Ann Linn lost her 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer in the early morning hours of December 19, 2021, at the age of 58, joining her mother Peg Linn and her fur baby Jingles in the loving arms of our Lord. Tammy is survived by the love of her life and wife Shirley Tanner, her fur baby Myrtle Linn Tanner, her father Bill Linn, sisters Kim Linn and Deb Wolford, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her mother-in-law Charlotte Tanner, her brother-in-law Scott Tanner and his partner Betty Lewis, her Village of friend-family, and other friends too numerous to name.
Tammy Linn left Milton Pennsylvania after high school to join the military. Tammy served her country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and acted as a Morse Code operator while stationed in the United Kingdom and later Japan. Tammy lived in Texas for a number of years before settling in St. Louis in 1993, where she worked for Webster University in the Enrollment Technology Department for 25 years.
Tammy was happiest when spending time with Shirley and Myrtle, her family, or her Village of friend-family, traveling, riding or taking care of horses, or driving her sports car around town. Never one to give in or to give up, Tammy became involved in Pedal the Cause and Powered by Hope shortly after her cancer diagnosis. During the 5 years Tammy participated in Pedal the Cause, she personally raised $35,000 for cancer research, inspiring her friends to ride as “Team Tammy” and join her in the fight for a world without cancer. To honor Tammy and her desire that we work together to find a way to “Kick Cancer’s Ass,” in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Tammy Linn’s name to Pedal the Cause for the 2022 fundraising year using the link below:

Tammy was a great woman and friend. Her legacy is like no other. She will forever live on in many many hearts. So incredibly happy she was able to marry her love, Shirley. Tammy will always be loved and never forgotten….until we meet again.
Beautiful words for a beautiful person. How lucky our family is to be a part of Tammy and Shirley. They are two people that have tons of friends …but make you feel you are the only FRIEND they have…
Friends forever….Dave and Susie
Awesome tribute for a beautiful soul. Tammy was a strong positive force that people gravitated to. So grateful & blessed to have Tammy & Shirley as friends. Best people I know.
The sun will shine a bit brighter and the stars will twinkle a little more – and we will know Tammy is watching over us with that megawatt smile on her face.
Sister of my heart – always. Lisa
