Richard J. Scott passed away Monday, January 31, 2022. Richard was born on November 25, 1950 in St. Louis, MO to Edgar J. Scott and Mary L. (Saenger) Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Mary Scott. 

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Susan M. Scott; his son, Michael J. Scott (Sarah); his step-son, Mark E. Pfeiffer (Julie); his step-daughter, Anna C. Qualls (Nicholas); his sister, Karen Sydlowski (Donald); six grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Bonnie. 

Richard donated his body to the Gift of Body program at St. Louis University School of Medicine. 

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s in Cottleville at 11:00 am on February 19, 2022, 1351 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, MO 63304, visitation at 10:00 am at the church.
