Raymond Charles Gary Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 17,1944. He was a graduate of Lutheran High School and Harris Teachers’ College. He taught for many years in the St. Louis Public Schools and later worked as a caseworker for the Missouri Division of Family Services.

He is survived by his cousins and many friends.

A life-long lover of books and movies, Ray was a voracious reader and a fount of movie trivia knowledge. Ray will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, his zany sense of humor, and his infectious laugh.

Rest in Peace, dear Friend. You will be missed.

Private Burial will be held at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
