We regretfully announce the passing of Connie Lavonne Stone, 73, of Fenton, Missouri.  Connie passed away at St. Mary’s hospital in St. Louis, Missouri with her siblings by her side on February 12, after a sudden but short battle with multiple cancers.

Connie was born to Ralph and Virginia Stone of Wapello, Iowa on March 3, 1948.  Connie graduated from Wapello High School in 1966 and the University of Iowa in 1970.

While Connie never married, she lived a full and vibrant life and specifically enjoyed traveling to both Europe and Asia.  Connie was very outgoing and made many friends over her several careers and developed very close and sincere relationships with her neighbors.

Connie’s nephews and nieces held special esteem in her eyes and she was highly devoted to her mother and father throughout their lives.

Connie was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by her  brother, Keith Stone of Little Rock, Arkansas and her sister, Karen Wayne of Fenton, Missouri.
