Judith Huss Warner passed away peacefully on December 4, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri. Her 85 years were blessed with loving friends and family.

Judy was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, with her younger brother, Bob, who she adored. She loved horseback riding, was active in Girl Scouts, and was both a lifeguard and a camp counselor. Judy attended Russell Sage college where she sang in the Sagettes, earned her Bachelors of Science degree, and met the love of her life, Howard Warner. They married and moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she taught for a year before starting a family. She taught her children, Barbara and Robert, to love sailing, skiing, camping, and traveling as they explored the United States together.

Judy was very involved in her local community, serving as president of Whitehall Library Board of Trustees, a member of the Board of Friends of Whitehall, and volunteering as a Girl Scout leader and at both Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Baldwin Community Methodist Church as well as the American Associates of University Women and The Daughters of the American Revolution. After Howard retired, they traveled all over the world, collecting art and treasured memories. When not traveling, Judy thoroughly enjoyed the symphony and dining with friends. She also loved watching her two granddaughters grow up, attending dance recitals and softball tournaments, watching movies and playing games.

Howard and Judy moved to St. Louis into Garden Villas South near their daughter and son-in-law. Judy loved her life there, making new friends and participating in all the activities. She was overjoyed to meet and know four great-grandchildren in her time.

She is survived by her husband, Howard, her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Gail Huss, her daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Greg Newby, her granddaughters and their husbands Jennifer and Jeremiah Gardner and Lindsay and Kyle Laster, and her great-grandchildren, Adam, Claire, Colton, and Matthias.

She was regrettably predeceased in death by her son, Robert.

She was loved by many and her beautiful smile, sensational stories, and joyful demeanor will forever be greatly missed.
