Donald Leo Quante

Donald Leo Quante of St Ann Mo passed away suddenly on March 17th, 2022 at the age of 86.

His family and wife Judith (Judy)(née Ferrari) of 14 years were by his side. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Barbara Quante (Taschler). Don was born March 5th 1936to the late Leo and Mildred Quante. Cherished father to Debbie (Brian) Stultz, Carrie (Vince) Hamm, Don (Shelia) Quante, Tom(Missy) Quante, and dear brother to the late Dorothy Jean Meppiel.

Donald was a loving grandpa, great-grandpa, and great-great-grandpa, treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, brother in law, and a friend to many.

Donald moved his family to his forever home in 1972 in the city of St Ann, where he worked for 29 years retiring as assistant public works director in 2003. While working in and around the City of St Ann, Don made many friends. He always greeted everyone with a smile, he never knew a stranger. He had a heart of gold and was always ready to help anyone with his handyman skills. He enjoyed spending time with his family whether he helped with home projects, vintage cars, building puzzles, playing cards, going to the casino, ice cream at Dairy Queen or just having milk and cookies. He enjoyed the last months of his life enjoying the friendship of Freedom the cat #2 (Meowmeow)

Don left us with the gift of laughter and plenty of stories to inspire it. He will be deeply missed until we meet again.

We Love You, Donald!
