Allie Riley

Allie Sue Riley, 78, of South City, St Louis, Missouri passed away on March 31, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Her immediate family was present.

Allie Sue was born on December 28, 1943 in Kingsport, Tennessee and was adopted by Harold and Nell Davis of Alcoa, Tennessee. Mr and Mrs Davis are deceased.

Allie Davis and her sister, Linda Davis were reared in Alcoa and graduated from Alcoa High School. Linda Davis Owens is deceased.

Allie attended nursing school at the University of Tennessee School of Nursing in Knoxville.

In 1962, Allie Sue married Lynn A Riley of Maryville Tennessee in an elopement process in Bryson City, North Carolina. After living in Knoxville, Alcoa, Maryville, Chattanooga, and cities of northern California, Allie and her spouse moved to the St Louis area in 1980.

Mrs. Riley served as a vice president of FirstBank and also had long affiliations with Clayton Savings, First Community Credit Union, and Dierbergs Markets.

Allie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lynn A Riley; her daughter April Lynn Lehenbauer of Maryland Heights, Missouri; daughter Xanthe Paige Meyer of Chesterfield, Missouri; and granddaughters Caroline Grace Meyer and Riley Cate Meyer.

Allie Sue Riley’s ashes will be placed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Services are private.
