We are sad to announce the passing of our mother Alice Cardoso Lima.
She joins her beloved parents Lia Rodrigues Cardoso and Orlando Luiz Cardoso. She leaves behind her children Fernanda Lima, Roberta Lima (Mason Alinger), and Rafael Lima (Nicole Ferrari), as well as the grandchildren she adored, Alana, Lucas, Lucia, Marina, and Oscar. She also leaves behind her best friend and sister, Maria de Fatima Cardoso Seixas, and her family in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a reputable breast cancer research charity or organization of your choice.

Ela se junta aos amados pais Lia Rodrigues Cardoso e Orlando Luiz Cardoso. Ela deixa os filhos Fernanda Lima, Roberta Lima (Mason Alinger) e Rafael Lima (Nicole Ferrari), além dos netos que ela adorava, Alana, Lucas, Lucia, Marina e Oscar. Fernanda, Roberta and Rafael, I am soooo sorry for your loss. Your mom was so such a wonderful and loving person! She was sofull of life and laughter… and ALWAYS made me smile and laugh. I am grateful she was Patrick’s bud in Nursing school… as otherwise I would never have known such a fun and loving person. She was Patrick’s favorite! Betting on them enjoying each other once again. My prayers are with you all. xoxox
