Jock died peacefully at age 92 on Friday, May 6, 2022.

Devoted husband of Ann for 56 years, Jock was the beloved father of Richard C. Homire (Rosalie), Susan A. Homire, and Steven C. Homire (Linda); loving grandfather of Kaylah, Gretchen, Natalie, Steven, Ann, and Elizabeth; great grandfather of Ally, Dexter, Eleanor, Nathan, and Caleb; brother of Nancy Cunningham and the late Cynthia Homire; son of the late James L. Homire, Sr., and Marcella Simpson; uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Jock served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and spent almost 50 years practicing law in St. Louis, primarily in private practice with the late Edmund Albrecht for over 40 of those years.

A private family service will be held in Jock’s honor.
