RIP to a good friend and mentor.
HAD FUN WORKING WITH YOU JOE RIP
His online poker name was stagerig2000. We would often end up at the same Texas hold’em, no limit, Knockout, poker table where we both played for the maximum amount of (play) money after he retired. We were both born the same year (1964)and although he was several months older, this reminds me of our short time on earth. As a coworker he always had a professional demeanor, unforgettable voice and quiet sense of humor. Farewell Brother
Joe was a great man! When I started at local 6 he told me I was a hard worker and he was proud to work with me. I will NEVER forget that. That is a huge complement coming from such a well respected man like Joe! I will miss his smile and laugh and kind heart. He will definitely be missed by many!
To us he was called Uncle Joe. I babysat his dog because he was often on the road. I became Aunt Mary because of our dogs. Shortly after I took in 3 foster boys, and he became Uncle Joe to them. Every Christmas Eve Joe would come to the house and gather up every child in the house and take them to Sporting Good Store. He bought every child a new pair of shoes and a sports ball of their liking. Every Christmas eve until the kids were gone. You will not be forgotten Uncle Joe. R.I P.
