Timothy Michael Messina
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday, June 26, 2022, Timothy (Tim) Michael Messina, of Wildwood, Missouri, passed away at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife Cherie Messina (nee Sontag); beloved children Catherine, Andrew, and Abigail Messina; dear mother Nancy Thornton Messina; sister Ann M. Messina; and uncle Carl (Terri) Messina. Dear son-in-law of Larry (Angela) Sontag and Linda Roth; dear brother-in-law of Carisa (John) Pursell and Corryne Sontag. Tim was a loving uncle, cousin, friend, and mentor. He was joined in the arms of the Lord by his father Phillip M. Messina, D.D.S., his brother Kevin P. Messina, his grandparents, and many other loved ones.
After a long and successful career in mortgage lending, Tim pursued his passion, construction, where he served as a general contractor and project manager. Tim developed friendships that have lasted many years and cherished time spent coaching both his hockey kids and soccer girls. Tim loved to spend time with those he held dear in his heart, loving life, and celebrating with his friends and family. In light of his death, we choose to honor his ways.
Services:
Memorial Visitation and Mass of the Resurrection will be held Saturday, July 16 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church
15642 Clayton Rd.
Ellisville, MO 63011.
Visitation at 11:00 a.m.with the Mass to follow at 12:30 p.m.
A private interment at Holy Cross cemetery prior to the Mass.
A casual gathering celebrating Tim’s life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at
901 Sheffield Forest Ct.
Wildwood, MO, 63021.
This celebration will be reminiscent of the gatherings Tim loved to host. Please join us to share your memories and stories and spend time amongst all of Tim’s loved ones.

Our heart and prayers go out to you all. I will always remember his smile and voice, usually telling the dogs to stop or come here! May he live on in the kids laughter and smiles! I will think of him often. God bless the family and God bless Tim’s amazing life. ❤️

I know we all don’t think alike but I’ve always felt when Jesus takes a loved one he had a open position and had to fill it will the best candidate.
