Thomas (Thom) Travers Judd

Thomas (Thom) Travers Judd, 69, beloved son of the late Robert C. and Kathleen T. Judd was born on April 15,1953, in St. Louis, Mo. where he lived until his recent passing on June 20, 2022. He is survived by his former wife, Christie Lauberth, three daughters Emily, Abby, and Caroline, and 5 siblings and their spouses Mike (Sandy), Kathy (John), Peggy (Jamie), Beth, and Patrick (Carrie) and 13 Nieces and Nephews who loved him dearly.

Thom graduated in 1971 from Chaminade High School in St. Louis as “Athlete of His Class” and continued his education with a BA in Psychology with distinction from University of Virginia. Following graduation, Thom began a career in the Oil & Gas Industry and eventually went out on his own in the Financial and Wealth Management Industry. He made his home in St. Louis where he raised his loving daughters. A wonderful provider always putting his family first-and-foremost. He enjoyed many activities, especially the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Games. In the most recent years, he met a special lady, Diane De Vault, where they shared a lot of common interest and good times together with family and friends.

Thom had a great sense of humor and a lifelong passion for music. Listening to all different types of genres, he especially loved the tenors, Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo in addition to the classics. He was a lifetime learner teaching himself the guitar and fine tuning his piano skills trying to master “clair de lune” by Debussy. He was also quite the dancer, “burning a rug” with his daughters many times at fun events. Staying “fit” was a priority all his life, working out daily either with weights, hiking, swimming and recently taking up golf. Above all he was an avid runner, loving the trails in nearby Queeny Park where he passed. It is comforting to know he was doing what he loved. May you rest in Peace. We’ll see you in Heaven, Thom. We love you!

A Memorial Mass on August 6 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish is planned for 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) www.nhibl.nih.gov in memory of Thomas Judd.
