On Friday July 8, 2022, Gregory Howard Gebhart, loving husband passed away suddenly at age 67.

Greg was born on August 30, 1954 to Howard and Eve Gebhart.  Greg married Fran Ferguson on July 1, 1978 and enjoyed almost 38 years of happiness together.  

Greg received a BA degree in Chemistry in 1976 from Swarthmore College, a MBA degree from Vanderbilt University in 1980 and a MS degree in Education from the University of Houston in 1993.  Greg was an educator, an author of numerous books as well as both a federal and a city employee in his lengthy professional career.  

Greg enjoyed many interests through the years including a passion for good food, visiting with family and friends, attending bible study and church services as well as singing in the choir.  Greg’s greatest joy was in bringing happiness to others as he successfully overcame the obstacles he encountered in life.  He will be dearly missed.

Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Fran, his father, Howard, his mother, Eve, and brother, Eric.  Greg is survived by his brother, Brian, and his wife, Mary, and their two children, Chelsea and Joe, as well as his mother-in-law Doris Ferguson.

A memorial service for Greg will be held Saturday August 13 at 10am at 

Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 9 South Bompart Ave. Webster Groves, MO 63119.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Greg.
