Ballwin, MO, formerly of Belleville, IL – Louis W. Feist, 77, died from complications of Covid 19, Thursday, October 20, 2022, in Chesterfield, MO. He was born January 17, 1945, in East, St. Louis, IL, the son of Louis Frank and Dorothy Evelyn Feist (McMurtrey), deceased.

Lou was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Belleville, IL, Class of 1962. His favorite hobbies, through the years, were snow skiing, cruising the high seas, playing with cars and eating at every hole-in-the wall restaurant the Travel and Food channels had to offer!

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his in-laws, Ernest and JoAnn (Boyne) Blaise and brother-in-law, Thomas P. Blaise.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Stephanie M. Feist (Blaise); are his son, Joshua P. Feist of Ballwin, MO, daughter, Emily E. Wilson and her husband, Brad, of Athens, IL; two grandchildren, Braden Ernest and Brielle Elizabeth Wilson; one brother, Robert and his partner, Judy Ellwood, of Elbert, CO; one sister, Linda Kreuter and her husband, David, of Creve Coeur, MO; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Lanza and her husband, Joe, of Springfield, VA; a brother-in-law, Ernest Blaise, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Mass of Remembrance at 12:00 p.m., at Blessed Sacrament Church, 8707 West Main, Belleville, IL 62223.
