Guenzler, Susan Marie, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the age of 72.

Sue was born in St. Louis, MO, to the late James and the late Marie Guenzler.  She graduated from Affton High School and continued her education at Southeast Missouri State University.  Sue then attended and graduated from St. Louis University where she received her degree in Material Management.

Following her college education, Sue had a St. Louis Post Dispatch Paper Route for 20 years, before having to go on disability due to some health issues.  

Sue had a passion and calling for softball and she enjoyed coaching softball for the Espirit Organization.

Sue was preceded in death by her dear partner, Susan Thread.  She was the loving Sister of Tom (Jennie) and Pat (Gemma); dear Godmother of Carrie (Greg) and Tommie (Jenna) and cherished aunt of Matt (Heather) and Trey.  Sue was also a beloved great-aunt, cousin and friend to many and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Louis Cremation, 320 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, MO 63376.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sue’s memory, to Animal Protective Association, 1705 S. Hanley Road, Brentwood, MO 63144.
