Sandra “Sandy” Van Middlesworth
Sandra “Sandy” Kay Van Middlesworth, age 75, of Eureka, Missouri passed away Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 3, 1947 to Joseph Van Middlesworth and Lola Van Middlesworth (nee Blacklock).
Sandy was a loving mother, adoring grandmother “Bird”, and devoted friend to many. She grew up in Jennings, MO and cherished the lifelong friendships she had with schoolmates from her neighborhood. She spent her career in education as a teacher, counselor, and ultimately retired from Meramec Valley RIII School District as the Director of Special Education. Her kind nature, faith in God, and love of children endeared her to many over the years as an educator. Sandy also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, and reading. She was always up for an adventure.
Sandy is survived by her children Gregory Clift of Dallas, TX and Danielle (Timothy) Corley of Eureka, MO; her three grandchildren Rett Corley, Nick Corley, and Camren Corley; her brother Gary (Carol) Van Middlesworth of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her cousin, Marsha Osher.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Sandy on January 6, 2023 at 2:30 PM at The Crossing in Fenton. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to Cardinals Care or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Research Foundation.
One of my favorite teachers! Thank you for being a blessing to so many. I am especially grateful for seeing you again after many years when Danielle became my neighbor.

Oh my goodness. I had no idea. Sandy was such a warm and friendly person. She attended many of my barn sales over the years and we enjoyed great conversations on each visit. My most sincere sympathy to her family.
