Ella L. Jessie
Ella “Vicki” (Babcock) Jessie, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023. A special person and amazing spouse to James “Jess” Jessie (deceased) and sister to four. She is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn (Jessie) Wilson, grandchildren, Courtney and Timothy Wilson, and great grandchildren, Henry, Kent, and Maisey. She was a classy lady who loved her family and always reminded us how lucky we are and to appreciate all we have. She found joy in her vacations and loved the coast, especially lighthouses. Moreover, she found joy in her dogs and helping others, as evidenced by her generosity to charities, specifically the Humane Society of St. Louis, and caring for several of her neighbors before she ultimately moved into a nursing home. She selflessly touched the lives of so many with her kindness and one of a kind smile. Ella, affectionately known as Gramsy, has found her eternal rest.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
