Bobbie Jean Dennis of Lake St. Louis, Missouri was born September 3, 1933 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of T.A. Shnucks and Hazel Vinson and departed this life March 28, 2023 at 89 years old.

She was united in marriage on July 8, 1954 in Mississippi to Glen Dennis, this union was blessed with six children. She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, her sister Jackie Skidmore, her brother-in-law Bob Skidmore and daughter Sharon Brooks.

Bobbie had entrepreneurial spirit and owned a few businesses in Malden, Missouri, starting with restaurants 1970 through 1977, Bobbie’s Burger Den, then upgrading to Bobbie’s Steakhouse. From there she opened a beauty shop for a few years. In 1980 she moved to Dallas and managed restaurants before retiring in 1988. She moved to St. Louis in 1997, living with her daughter and was involved in raising grandchildren which were her pride and joy.

She was pure joy in everyone’s life that she touched and will be sorely missed and was of the Baptist Faith.

Her surviving children are Glen Dennis, Jr. (Mary); Debra Kleinheider (Todd); Michael Dennis; Trish Henneman (Randy) and Jan-Marie Little (Larry). Granchildren, Kristi Proffer (Tim); Glen Dennis III; Conner Harrop (Karoline); Kristen Orr (John McCoy); John Patrick Orr (Kaitlin); Chelsea Little; and Evan Little. Great grandchildren, Glen Dennis IV; Jackson Dennis: Colton Harrop; Madelyn Harrop; Wyatt Orr; Valerie Orr; Thomas Waudby and Tristen Waudby. Nieces and nephews, Jackie Lee Cox (Richard); Bobbie Skidmore (Vicki); Theresa Doerr (Brad) and Robbie Boucher (Val).

The graveside services will be held on April 22, 2023 at 1 p.m.
