Barbara Smith of St. Louis, MO, passed away in her home on April 11, 2023 at the age of 71. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Marguerite Smith of Caruthersville, MO; sister Clara Smith of St. Louis, MO; sister Kathryn Wyatt of Atlanta, GA; brother John Smith of Chicago, IL; and brother Robert Smith of St. Louis, MO. She is survived by her siblings: Michael Smith, Mary Ewing, and Octavious Smith; children: Tiffany Smith (51), Reginald Smith (49), Monica Smith (48), Antonio Douglas (43), and Calvin Douglas (40),  as well as her many beautiful grandchildren.

Barbara loved R&B music, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will take place May 6, 2023 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at St. Louis Cremation: 2135 Chouteau Ave, St. Louis, MO 63013.
