Linda Lee (Gardner) Tedeschi passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 13 at the age of 76. Linda was born on June 22,1946 to Merrill and Elsie Gardner in St. Louis, MO. After graduating from Riverview High School and marrying, Linda raised her 4 children in Jefferson City, MO. Linda later returned to St. Louis with her fiancé Michael Owens and retired from the department of adult abuse at the St. Louis County courts. Linda was a wonderful mother and dear friend who was always available when we needed her. Linda loved the color red, playing Monopoly with anyone who would appease her, and searching for her father’s sky of sky blue pink with a touch of purple.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Merrill and her daughter Lisa. She is survived by her fiancé Michael Owens, her children, David (Yujia), Dennis (Chasity), Melissa (Ray), and Rachel (Steve) as well as grandchildren Ouray, Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, Zakary, and Cody, and great granddaughters Bailey and Savannah. Linda also leaves behind her brother, Larry, a niece and nephew and countless friends.
The family requests that donations be made to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be held from 1-4pm on April 29 at Woodchase Lane Apartment Clubhouse (1100 Woodchase Lane, Chesterfield, MO 63017).
Linda was wonderful loving mother and dear friend.
I know we will miss and love her until we meet again. People like Linda are very few in this world today.
Linda was wonderful loving mother and dear friend.
I know we will miss her always.
My heart is broken, the first time I met her I knew she was the kind of person that loved everyone of her family, members and friends. I had the pleasure of enjoying a trip to New York City with her and her friend Jeannie, we had so much fun walking in Central Park and it was raining so we all had umbrellas and sit on the bench and laughed❤️ I was so looking forward to seeing her in June. She will be missed but I know she will be with us in spirit. I enjoyed the cards she sent me. they always made me feel special and I think that’s exactly what she wanted was to make people feel special and loved. May she rest in peace💔
Linda, you were one of my best friends in high school. I have many wonderful memories of you. You were always soooo funny and a true friend. Know that you are missed and I have added you to the names I pray for every night!
Peace of Christ,
Sherlyn
