Tony and Sherrie were married in June 1969. They were the love of each other’s life. Many pictures over the years would find Sherrie on Tony’s lap and almost always a kiss was involved. You rarely saw one without the other. Tony was a mechanic by trade, avid fisherman, and loved woodworking. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone at any time. Sherrie could always be found quilting, reading one of her many books, or watching a TV series. Sherrie loved sharing her knowledge of quilting with anyone that would listen. Tony and Sherrie enjoyed family vacations, and loved taking the Grandsons to Six Flags.
Grammy and Paw, as they were affectionately known, will be greatly missed. Their memories will forever be with us.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 20 at their home.
Beautiful tribute! I will always have fond memories of Six flags, and the St. Louis Arch. Uncle Tony & Aunt Sherrie were a big part of my childhood as were you Rhonda, Mark and Sandra. Uncle Tony say “hi” to my momma and all your siblings and parents. May the legacy you left behind and the memories be cherished. Rest in peace .
