Keith Leslie DeCamp, 82, died peacefully at his home in O’Fallon, MO on May 15, 2023.

He was born February 21, 1941, in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his beloved

wife of 48 years, Jean DeCamp; his father, LeRoy DeCamp; and his mother, Iona League;

beloved father of Michael (Linda) DeCamp and Laura Chappell; dear grandfather of

Jack, Emily and Ava DeCamp; loving brother of Ken DeCamp, Lee DeCamp and the late

Wayne DeCamp and the late Bonnie Hill; our dearest brother-in-law, uncle and friend to

many. 

Keith was drafted into the Army in 1963, receiving a Good Conduct Medal for his

service and an honorable discharge in 1965. He spent most of his professional career

as a purchasing director in the railcar industry with United Tank Car in East Chicago, IN

and ACF Industries in St. Charles, MO. 

He loved baseball, fishing, the theater, politics, his family, and his dogs. 

The family suggests any remembrances be made in honor of Keith and in Jean DeCamp’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
