Beloved husband, father, and friend.

Lance Thomas Clayton of Robertsville, Missouri passed away unexpectedly from a very short battle with cancer, on Wednesday May 3rd 2023.

He is survived by his wife Angela (Cacioppo) Clayton, of Robertsville, Missouri; Son, Dylan Clayton of Webster groves and son-in-law Cory Clayton.

Lance was born May 13th 1972 and resided in Labadie, Missouri. He graduated from Lindbergh High School and attended East Central College. He became a tree trimmer who considered no tree too high or large. Known for his quick-witted humor Lance was a loving husband and father. He was a fierce and loyal friend. To know him was a privilege.

Lance is preceded in death by his mother Verna Claire Harriet (Gerfen) Clayton, and his father Thomas Ray Clayton.

A small private party was held to celebrate Lance on his birthday May 13th per his wishes he was cremated and no other service or funeral will be held.

Birds were an important part of Lance and Verna’s lives, so in lieu of cards or flowers the family asks to donate to the World Bird Sanctuary.
