James “Jim” G. Bose
James “Jim” G. Bose, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023.
Dear father of Amanda (David) Whitworth and Jimmy (Janell) Bose; cherished grandfather of Kanyon, Mitchell, Amaya and Kaylee, and beloved brother of Barb Patterson, Mitch Bose and Larry Tooley. Jim was also a loving uncle, cousin and friend to many and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Doris Bose, brothers Bill and Ben Bose and daughter Doris April Bose.
Jim was an avid reader of Louis L’Amour novels, The Far Side Comic and watching the Food Network. He enjoyed cooking for his family and making sure everyone was fed. Jim dedicated his life to his children and always wanted the very best for them. He would not want us to make a big fuss over him, and he would say something like, “Tis but a scratch” (The Black Knight – Monty Python & The Holy Grail).
Services will be at a later date.
So sorry for your loss. His race has ended and now he can rest pain free.
Amanda, you and your family will co tinue to be in my prayers. I never got to meet tour father, but I feel like I knew him just the same, as you often spoke so eloquently and lovingly about your father. In time your tears of sorrow will turn to tears of joy.
