Norma Friend (née Bennett), a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved friend, passed away on June 22, 2023. Norma’s unwavering love and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on September 23, 1932, Norma was the loving daughter of Dorothy & Marvin Bennett She grew up in Southeast Missouri, where she cultivated a passion for life, family, and spreading joy. Norma’s radiant spirit and infectious smile brightened the world around her.

Norma’s most treasured role was being a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Donald Friend. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and unwavering support. Together, they built a foundation of warmth, respect, and shared dreams that stood the test of time.

As a mother, Norma was a source of strength to her sons and daughter, Tom, Ann, Greg and Scott Friend. As she was to her Grandchildren and great Grandmother. She instilled in them values of compassion, determination, and a zest for life.

Beyond her immediate family, Norma was a cherished friend to many. Her kind and nurturing nature made her, a shoulder to lean on, and a beacon of light during both joyous and challenging times. Norma’s friendship was a true gift, and her impact on the lives of those she touched will forever be cherished.

Norma’s memory will be kept alive in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she has left this earthly realm, her love and legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. Norma Friend will be remembered as a compassionate soul, a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a friend who radiated warmth and love wherever she went.

A memorial service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on July 22, 2023 at Saint Louis Cremation 2135 Chouteau Ave. St. Louis, MO 63103 from 11:00-1:00 pm.

Norma Friend will forever be missed but never forgotten. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring solace and comfort to all those who mourn her loss.
