Our lives were filled with love for having known you. Our days were filled with laughter at your hand. The strength and courage shown as you fought this battle will never be forgotten. We will always remember your love, and will carry on because you taught us to believe in the strength of ourselves and our family.

Love of family was always the most important aspect of your life, and that lesson was instilled in us every day by your generosity and love. The bond created through our unified love for you, and all that you mean to us, will never be broken. Together we will weather this storm of heartache, believing that as a family we will stay strong, and knowing that you are always watching over us. Your memory will live on through every heart that was blessed enough to have been touched by you. Until we meet again, sleep softly with those awaiting you at the gates to heaven.

A memorial service will be held at Gambrinus Hall on November 30 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Ruth lost family and friends in several wars and held a deep appreciation for all Servicemen and Servicewomen.
