Maurice Paul Wichmann

April 29th, 1932 –  July 22nd, 2023

 

Maurice (Maury) Paul Wichmann passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2023 at the age of 91. He was born on April 29th, 1932.  Survived by his loving wife Susan Wichmann (nee Schwedtmann) of 58 years.

Lovingly remember by his children Andy (Candy), Sarah Maleas (John) and John and grandchildren Hannah, Grace, Jacob, Grace and Ben.

Maury graduated from CBC high school and attended the University of Missouri, serving as the president of the alumni association in the 80’s.  He served in the United States Navy and had a long career in the automobile industry. 

Funeral Mass is at Assumption Catholic Church on Mattis Road on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 at 10 AM.  Private internment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Feed My People food bank.

    Sorry to hear this. I worked with Maury at Dave Sinclair Buick GMC. I was a newby at the time and he took me under his wing and taught me so much about the car bizz. I guess it worked because I sold cars for 25 years before retiring 6 years ago. Prayers for his entire family 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Maury for being there for me!!!!
