Doris Cozette Allen of Affton, MO passed away September 14, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on December 30, 1942, in Doniphan, MO to George and Doris (Moore) Hurley. Doris worked for the Faulstich family for many years as a nanny. She loved to play Bingo, read on her front porch, spend time with her family, and shop on QVC. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many.

She is survived by her children: Bobby Allen, Brenda (Jeff) Capestro, and Timothy (Diana) Allen, her sister Linda (Jimmie) Stricklin, her former daughter-in-law
Wendy Allen, her grandchildren: Shawna (Norman) Hodge, Melanie-Anne Spoth (Adam Propst), Courtney Steele (Chris Meredith), Brittany (Ben) Schnapp, Brianna Capestro, Brandon (Megan) Kuegler, Jake Kuegler (Mandy), Aiden Allen; Her Great grandchildren, Colby, Ethan and Haydn Hodge, Trey and Michelle Spoth, Bailey, Skylar and Carson, Collin Steele, David, Adabelle and Lucille, Harley and Brayden Kuegler and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Doris Hurley, her sister Deborah Calcote, her brothers Clinton and James Hurley, and her son-in-law Jeff Capestro.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on September 29, 2023 at Calvary Chapel, Festus MO 63028. A memorial visitation will be held from 10am -12pm, Followed by a service from 12-1pm, officiated by Pastor Scott Parker
