Bruce I Nilges, of Des Peres MO, passed peacefully at his residence on September 18, 2023.  Bruce was born June 19, 1956, in Jefferson City MO, to Dorothy Nilges and Albert Nilges.  He was married to Carrie Hand on August 23, 1986 at UMC Webster Groves. They enjoyed 37 years together and lived in Des Peres for thirty years.

His parents and stepmother, Joyce Nilges, preceded him in death.

Owner of Bruce Nilges Landscape Company for 33 years, Bruce loved going to farm and tool auctions, always looking for “rusty gold” unique items to sell in his booth at the Antique Mall.

Bruce was always very proud of his kids and grandkids and their accomplishments.  The most cherished roles in Bruce’s life were those of a loving husband, dad, and papa.  His presence in our lives will be greatly missed.
